Welcome, Jasmine!
We are happy to announce our newest undergraduate student addition Jasmine! Jasmine Treviño is an undergraduate student pursuing a B.S. in Atmospheric Science with a minor in Applied Mathematics. Her research focuses on radar meteorology, precipitation microphysics, and the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve precipitation estimation and drop size distribution retrievals. She is a McNair Scholar and a Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Scholar alumnus, and plans to pursue graduate studies focused on atmospheric science and remote sensing. Jasmine will be joining our South TX Air Quality study to help us better incorporate atmospheric science!
